ABA in Miami

In-home & in-school ABA in Miami.

Miami families often face long waitlists for autism care — but not with us. We enroll new families now, accept Florida Medicaid and major commercial carriers, and pair every child with a dedicated therapist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who designs an individualized plan. Whether your child needs early intervention, communication support, or help in school, we meet your family where you are — in English or Spanish — and we'll explain Step Up For Students funding if it applies.

Neighborhoods and areas we serve in Miami: Coral Gables, Brickell, Kendall, Doral, Aventura, Pinecrest, Coconut Grove.

Miami Insurance

Coverage that works in Miami.

We are in-network with Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Florida Blue (Blue Cross Blue Shield). We are actively working on adding additional networks. Florida families also qualify for the Step Up For Students Personalized Education Program, which provides up to $10,000 per child per year toward therapy.

Miami FAQ

Miami questions, answered.

Do you serve all of Miami-Dade?

Yes — beyond Miami we serve Coral Gables, Kendall, Doral, Aventura, Homestead, and the surrounding Miami-Dade communities. Just ask and we'll confirm your address.

Do I need a diagnosis before House of Hearts can help?

It depends on how you plan to pay. For insurance-covered ABA, yes — Florida insurance requires an autism diagnosis from a licensed psychologist or developmental pediatrician before services can begin. For private pay, no — you can begin services without a formal diagnosis. If you don't have one yet and you'd like one, we can refer you to a diagnostic partner.

What is Step Up For Students and can I use it for ABA?

Step Up For Students is a Florida scholarship that covers up to $10,000 per child per year for autism-related services, including therapy. Many of our families use it alongside insurance.

Which Florida Medicaid plans do you accept?

At this time, we do not accept Florida Medicaid plans. We are actively working toward becoming in-network and will update this page when coverage is available. You can still submit our intake form so we can reach out as soon as we are accepting Medicaid families.

Can my child get ABA at school in Florida?

It depends. Whether ABA can happen at school depends on both your insurance plan and whether your child’s school and district permit outside providers in the classroom. We coordinate with IEP teams where the school allows it, but we cannot guarantee in-school services in every case.
